THE TRUTH ABOUT PHYLLIS TWIGG | BBC Radio 4 | Director

In 1924, the world’s first radio drama was broadcast by the BBC. Richard Hughes was credited as the writer – but Phyllis Twigg wrote a children’s radio play performed live on the BBC on Christmas Eve, over one year earlier.

It’s definitely not the first time a woman’s contribution to history has gone awry. The Truth About Phyllis Twigg is a light-hearted drama about giving credit where credit’s due – even if it takes 100 years.

With Tamsin Greig as Phyllis Twigg and Rory Kinnear as Arthur Burrows. Phyllis Twigg: Behind the Scenes

UNSINKABLE | Wondery+ | Producer / Dialogue Editor (UK)

Recorded during the first of the many Covid lockdowns in 2020, Unsinkable now has a home with Wondery+.

Starring Succession‘s Brian Cox, John Malkovich, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Queen’s Gambit) and Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Unsinkable is the epic true story of the fuel-carrying San Demetrio. Its crew are forced to abandon the ship at sea when a fire breaks out – and then, in a mix of bravery, luck and daring, reclaim it before it sinks.

Written by John Mawson and produced by both John and Misha Crosby, my involvement included facilitating some of the UK recording sessions from my studio and tackling the initial dialogue edit.
