What I Do

I’ve worked in broadcasting for nearly twenty years and as a full-time Voiceover Artist for eight of those years.

I started as a Traffic and Travel Broadcaster for local and national BBC and commercial radio stations, followed by seven years as a Continuity Announcer and Producer at Comedy Central – so I’m used to being both sides of the mic!

If you’re looking for smooth, cool and friendly with perhaps a touch of dry British humour, you’re in the right place. Clients include Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce Marine, UNICEF, Playboy TV, Jaguar, Nivea, Bosch, EDF Energy, WIRED and many more.

Where have you heard my voice?

I’ve recorded radio and TV commercials, web videos, plus elearning, web-based training and documentary narration. On-hold messages for telephone systems, sat-nav and voice prompts for automated services for clients all over the world. Visit the Videos page for some examples.

Professional Home Studio

My studio includes two Neumann mics, a bespoke, purpose built vocal booth, ISDN via Prima LT codec, ipDTL and Source Connect Now  for live sessions. A wired broadband connection means a solid connection to the internet allowing for upload speeds of approximately 50mbps and download speeds of around 80mbps. Audio can also be sent via email or ftp either fully edited for immediate use or as a raw, unfinished file. If you wish, you can listen and direct the recording session via Skype.

How does it work?

Call or email me with your requirements. Once the final script is ready to record, the voiced version will be back with you as a wav or mp3 within whatever timescale you request. Files are delivered to clients worldwide.
